I'm not sure the 100 series allows passthrough from the plc however most of the others do. When you mean get data do you mean upload the original application to pc or gather data from the plc via the HMI. Thirdly it could be the contrast setting, not sure about the 100 but most of the others have a little hole in the back to adjust the contrast, note that this is quite a coarse control. As GX IEC Developer seems to be mainly Europe or atleast Scandinavia as it's also made by Beijer Electronics AB.
Would be interesting to know in each part of the world they distribute to, how it's done with software etc. Probebly do it diferently in diferent parts of the world, but I have only worked with Beijer Electronics AB in Sweden so I have no idea how it's done in the rest of all countries that have E terminals. I have never seen a Cimrex being programmed by E-Designer, there is no option for any of those panels in the E-Designer package bought by Beijer atleast. Beijer distribute to Scandinavia and Mitsubishi destribute in USA and some other places if I remember that right.
